Your Retreat, Our Land
Territorio de Origen is a working cacao farm, nature reserve, and intentional community two and a half hours from Medellín. When you rent the property, it is yours entirely — no other guests, no shared spaces, just your group and this land.
We handle the logistics so you can focus on your people. Food, transport, and accommodations are all managed by our team. We can also help arrange additional programming — bodywork, breathwork, dance therapy, medicine ceremonies, and more — so you can arrive with your vision and let us fill in the rest.
This is 320 acres of farm, forest, and river in the mountains of Antioquia, including 70 acres of protected native forest. Groups come here to go deep, and this place supports that.
The forest, the river, the cacao — they are not amenities. They are medicine.

Gathering and Ceremony spaces
We have a traditional maloca, a fire circle, and multiple open-air spaces around the property. Most of our gathering happens outdoors, which is part of the point.

300+ acres of forest, river, waterfall, cacao, and gardens. Available for guided walks, silent time, and group activities.

Available in main areas. Intentionally limited in ceremony space to support digital detox where desired.

Every room at Territorio de Origen is designed to feel calm, uncluttered, and connected to the natural environment around it. Bamboo construction, natural materials, and organic bedding throughout — eucalyptus comforters, bamboo sheets, quality pillows.
Bed configurations are flexible. Most rooms can be set up as one king or two twins depending on your group’s needs. Let us know when you book and we’ll arrange accordingly.
Food
Meals at Territorio de Origen are included in your retreat rental and prepared fresh daily by our team. We cook farm-to-table, using produce from our own land and sourced locally from the surrounding community.
We typically serve buffet style, which means there is always something for everyone at the table. Omnivore, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are part of every meal — not an afterthought. Dietary needs and preferences are discussed during the planning process so nothing is a surprise when your group arrives.
The food here is part of the experience. It is honest, seasonal, and made with the same intention as everything else on the property.
Nature
The property sits inside 320 acres of farm, forest, and river in the mountains of Antioquia. For retreat groups, this is not just a backdrop — it is part of the program.
Your group can hike to the waterfall, swim in the river, walk the cacao groves, or simply sit in the forest and let the noise settle. The biodiversity here is extraordinary — raptors, toucans, parrots, monkeys, anteaters, tayras, and dozens of other species live and nest on the property year-round. Wildlife encounters are common and close.
Time in nature is built into every stay here, whether your program calls for it or not. The land has a way of finding people regardless.
Retreat Spaces
The centerpiece is our medicine temple — an 18 by 14 meter open structure with skylight, a smooth concrete floor, indoor and outdoor fire pits, three bathrooms, and a shower. It is large enough for a group ceremony, yoga or breathwork sessions, or anything in between. We supply beds, blankets, chairs, yoga mats and whatever else your program requires.
Beyond the temple, the property has a dedicated massage therapy pavilion and a permanent sweat lodge for traditional ceremony work.
